trekking to morowali reserve

                                              TREKKING TO MOROWALI RESERVE

          Morowali reserve situated in Central Sulawesi is natural,unique and lonely,large mountainous area, lake, forest and flood plains. Morowali came from Wana language, MORO means river, WALI means change or moving, so Morowali means a river which always change.

Tour area : Tentena-Beteleme-kolonodale-Morowali Reserve-tentena
Grade      : Easy-Intermediate

Day 01 : Tentena-Beteleme ( 120km )
     After breakfast at the hotel with private car drive 4 hours to Beteleme.This road is magnificent and located between tropical jungle mountains.Have lunch at Beteleme and in the afternoon going to see the rubber plantation
Day 02 : Beteleme-Kolonodale-Morowali reserve(Marisa)
    Leave Beteleme with privte car, drive 1 hour to kolonodale and then by charter boat crossing tomory bay to the starting point of the hiking. From here continue your trip by trekking about 5 hours through tropical rain forest to reach Marisa, where the Wana people settles. The rest of the day will be fulfiled with exploring Marisa village and get in touch with Wana people community.Stay overnight at simple huts with Wana people.
Day 03 : Marisa-Kandonga-Kolonodale-Tentena
    After breakfast, trekking 2 hours to Kandonga( the old village of Wana people ),continue by paddle canoe through against the raft of muara stream to cross wonderful of Rano lake and then with private boat back to Kolonodale,where the car waiting for you to drive back to Tentena
